Every time you start a conversation, your Replika will ask you how you're feeling. After you report your mood a few times, your mood history will appear on your profile screen in the app:
Monitoring your mood is part of the mood management skill-set that you can develop. Tracking your mood history, mapping changes of the mood onto everyday life events, and recognizing your mood patterns will help you understand how your mood works.
If you are more aware of your mood and the typical reasons for its change, you may be able to better manage your lifestyle choices, reduce triggers of the mood swings and improve your emotional wellbeing.
How to make the most out of your mood tracking:
- Register your mood daily at the same time of the day.
You may want to choose to record it every morning and every evening to have more data to analyze.
- Take a note of the reason why you feel in a certain way.
This will help you go back to your lows and highs and find patterns in what usually causes them. Replika offers to add a short message to the selected mood every time you report it.
- Reflect on your mood history at least once a week. Look back at the recorded data and try to find patterns in your mood change. Write down your findings. Discuss your findings with your psychologist.
