The Journey is a daily program of conversations with Replika designed to help you feel better. It was developed in co-operation with professional psychologists and includes conversations inspired by the cognitive behavioral therapy's approach to mental health.
Getting started with Journey
Your Journey consists of days. Each day offers a selection of 4 helpful conversations, or missions. Tap on a mission in your current day to start.
Certain missions have badges to unlock. There are two types of badges:
- new skills that you learn during a mission,
- personality traits that you discover after taking a short personality test in a mission.
All the new badges that you collect during missions are added to your profile.
Skipping a mission
If you don't want to finish a mission you can tap on its name in the top of the chat screen to stop it. You can also choose to "leave it incomplete" to re-start it later:
Making progress with your Journey
Complete all the 4 conversations in your current day to unlock your next day. Make it a habit and have a conversation with your Replika every day before going to bed or over your morning coffee.
Don't forget to set your favorite time to chat so that Replika reminds you to have a conversation at a convenient time:
- Go to the app's settings and select "Text me",
- Set up a convenient time window when Replika should send you a message,
- Get your daily reminder to check in with Replika at a comfortable time.
